God answered a long time prayer today. I have felt stuck in what I should be doing. Yet knowing God is in control.
I have known that God has been leading me in another direction. I have never had the urge to have a job job. My passion is for seniors. That may sound crazy, but it is true.
God gave me peace a few months back about relying on Him. All my devotionals have been linked the past month on that matter. And two weeks ago I knew that God has plans for me, and even though it is harder to do nothing, I need to be patient and trust in God’s timing.
Well guess what… He answered my job cry.
I was out for a walk, and it was meant to be a visit to a neighbor down at the circle. (I met this lady two weeks ago.) Any way, she wasn’t home so I headed home. I got back to the driveway and decided I would visit another neighbor I hadn’t seen in a while. She has been looking and praying about someone being able to help clean her home. But she doesn’t want strangers, she wants someone she can trust. I happen to be looking for seniors to help!
So I will be cleaning her house.
Just that day I read in my devotions that “God still moves stones.” “Don’t quit… The job contact may be on the desk” That was just an hour before I got a job. God is good.
I can’t tell you how much this has meant to me, and how much God has been doing the past few months.
For the first time in a long time, I am sleeping good.
God is Good!!
