Song of Solomon

This is a little hard for me… I don’t like sharing my notes as because of my thinking that whatever I say doesn’t make sense. But here,

Notes from reading Song of Solomon:

Sos 1:7 “Tell me, O thou whom my soul loveth” “Tell me” Asking God “Soul loveth” Whom we love the most. The Lord knows whom we will love, we must ask and wait on His timing.

Sos 2:7 “I charge you, O ye daughters of Jerusalem by the roes, and by the hinds of the field, that ye stir not up, nor awake my love, til He please.” “Charge” – Dare or demand.

Leave out “my” and it says it like this: “nor awake love, til He please” This is what my study Bible had to say: “2:7 ’til He please!’ Better, until it (love) pleases. Let love develop naturally; do not force it.”

Don’t awake love before time. It will cause a mess.

Sos 3:4 “It was but a little that I passed from them, but I found him whom my soul loveth: I held him, and would not let him go, until I had brought him into my mothers house, and into the chamber of her that conceived me.” Wait, and when you have him, don’t let him go. The Lord will lead you to, and give you the ‘right’ person. Just wait, listen, and obey.

Sos 4:3 “Thy lips are like a thread of scarlet, and thy speech is comely: thy temples are like a piece of a pomegranate within thy locks.” – “Speech in comely” Women should have soft, kind words. Not out of line/place. Be like the Proverbs 31:10-31 woman.

Sos 5:6 “I opened to my beloved; but my beloved had withdrawn himself, and was gone: my soul failed when he spake: I sought him, but I could not find him; I called him, but he gave me no answer.” Stuck out. The whole chapter was a fare-seer of after my wedding night. Things will be very different.

Sos 6:5 “Turn away thine eyes from me, for they have overcome me: thy hair is as a flock of goats that appear from Gilead.” He like her eye? If so, we should be very careful with our eyes even more.

Sos 7 All of this chapter was about Solomon thought of his wife’s body and features.

Sos 8 They longed to be together, and their love kept growing.

Jeremiah Week 10

Jeremiah 10:10, 23-24

“But the LORD is the true God, he is the living God, and an everlasting king: at his wrath the earth shall tremble, and the nations shall not be able to abide his indignation.

O LORD, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps. O LORD, correct me, but with judgment; not in thine anger, lest thou bring me to nothing.”

Univited

I finished a wonderful book called Uninvited.

It was amazing. The two books I have read by her have changed my life in great ways.

Writing

Recently I have been inspired to write a play, or could be movie script.

I am amazed at how well it is going. i already have 35 pages on Microsoft Word (normal spacing.)

Writing Scripts is not new to me, since I have wrote a few children ones for me and my sister. One that we take great pride in. I will not tell you the title… you may want to take it. We dream that one day it would be able to be put on by a church. However, since neither one of us write songs… we have to wait until someone comes along who can finish the Play with Music. Til then, we just perfect and proofread.

Unlike the play my sister and I wrote, this one is not on Christ. This one is about… shouldn’t tell you that either. Sorry… Kidding. It is about not looking on the outside… I guess it does have Something to do with Christ, for that is how we are to be.

It for now.

Jeremiah Week 9

Jeremiah 9:23-24,”Thus saith the LORD, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches:
But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the LORD which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the LORD”

Speaks for its self. But to comment on it.

God is truly Good! He is Good and Strong. Not evil and strong or good and weak… He is Always Good and Strong!

Let us Glory in the Lord God Almighty who made us! He is a good Father, our Father!
