So, how am I doing…
I am doing alright. July hasn’t been a waste even though I haven’t lost as much weight as I would like. This month has more been about discovery. How can I lose the weight, what works best, what changes do I need to make, and how can I stay focused? All question I have tried to answer this month, and I’d like to say I think I have.
This month I changed my breakfast which is a big deal for me… I love my cereal. However, I needed to drop my bowl of cereal to see if that would help. I replaced it with a slice of cinnamon bread & one hard-boiled egg. I have to say that that was tough. Bread is just not as tasty to me. I do that for my breakfast and then I have just the home-made smoothie for lunch. Dinner is still whatever the meal happens to be, but with the other meals good, I can worry less about it.
Exercising. I have uped it. I walk in the morning, and I have been able to walk a longer distance I started with 0.39mi, now I do 0.59mi. I know it isn’t alot, but that is just in the morning. After devotions I do my yogaish stuff:
Stretch, Crunches, Crunches with exercise ball, leg lifts, outer thigh lifts, inner thigh lifts, Plank, knee push-ups, and then I lift weights.
In the afternoon I walk again and I do around 1/2 -3/4 of a mile.
In the evening my sister and I do the wii fit, and wii active- totaling 40min.
Next my sister and I do what we call our “Dirt drink” Recipe. (We take no credit. Found on Pinterest.)
We do in each cup:
Just less then 12oz of water.
2Tbsp of Apple-cider vinegar.
1 1/2 lemons juice (We buy three lemons to split)
1tsp Cinnamon
1Tbsp of Raw honey.
There you go. We do it about four night a week. Sun, Mon, Wed, Sat. If we miss a day, we just move it to a different day, and still try to do four times.
With all of this plus a Challenge.
I am not going to have any sweets for the next two months, mark that October 1st will be my last day. Yeah, I know this will be hard for me, but I have grown, and I want to prove to myself and my sister that with Deu’s help I am strong. Psalm 142:3.
Wish me luck!
