I did it again! I said my memory verse!

Psalm 40:2,” He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.”

This weeks verse!

Psalm 40:2, “He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.”

Tonight as we come into Halloween I pray we all will be safe. Many people plan on doing some Bad stuff and hurting people… I pray no one will get hurt. Locking doors tomorrow for sure.

Be safe!

I got through this week! Not as successful as I hoped, but I did rather well.

I did say my Verse! Psalm 40:17, “But I am poor and needy; yet the Lord thinketh upon me: thou art my help and my deliverer; make no tarrying, O my God.”

I will let you know tomorrow what the next Verse is!

I made it!

It has been a year since the lowest I have ever been. With that- it has been a year that I have not let fear take me down! God has helped me through so much this past year, and I know He will continue to help me.

I want to note that my sister has also been a great help to me through this time. I know that she has put up with much, and I thank her for not walking away, or telling me I am crazy. She stood by, gave what advice she could, but mostly encouraged me to keep going!

I will never forget what this past year has taught me. One thing I will say He taught me is… I had to be broken so that I could learn, and really listen. I have been humbled and have learned much.

As I said in a past post “I will celebrate a year of not letting my darkest fears, my inner hate, my anger, and my nerves get the best of me. Even if I have to fight everyday to keep fear and despair far from me… I WILL!”    I WILL!

These are some verses that have helped me through:

Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.”

Psalm 28:7, “The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.”

Isaiah 41:10, “Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.”

Verse for this week! I did well last week, here’s to two weeks in a row!

Psalm 40:17, “But I am poor and needy; yet the Lord thinketh upon me: thou art my help and my deliverer; make no tarrying, O my God.”

I had a great time with my sister in law, niece, and nephews today. My sister and I rode our bikes to their house, and then to the park. We were there for about two hours. Then my sister and I had to ride home fast to beat the rain. It was still light rain when we got home. ten minutes later the rain started coming down. Still a fun day!

Wow, it has been a while.

I am going to start a new thing where every Sunday evening I will be putting a Bible verse or verses on here. I hope to make it a thing where I learn a verse on Sunday and memorize it through the week. I will recite the verse (or verses) to my sister on Saturday nights.

I am doing this because last Sunday night I realized how comfortable I had gotten at how far I have come. I believe last week God told me that it’s time for me to start doing things again. I need to grow, and the best way to do that is to be in God’s word. I have my sister as a accountability partner. She will help me make sure I do things. I want to change into the godly woman I have always dreamed of being. I can’t do that without God’s help. I know the Lord will give me the strength I need.

I pray the Lord will give me the determination and endurance I need. With October 24th around the corner, I need all the strength I can get. I do believe with God “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.”(Philippians 4:13)

I will keep you updated on how it is going each week.

This week’s verse is Psalm 119:67-68 “Before I was afflicted I went astray: but now have I kept thy word.Thou art good, and doest good; teach me thy statutes.”

The Lord is Merciful!

Lamentations 3:22-25. “It is of the LORD’S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. The LORD is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him. The LORD is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him.”

These are good verses to read every morning. God will be with you through the day. God is faithful!

Know that when night come, God’s mercy and goodness will still be with you.
