Losing Mass Week Three Done.

So this week was okay, but I had some higher calorie meals this week that made me only lose 0.4oz’s. Over all I have lost 10.6lbs. That is from when I started back in June… not the 9th. I will say that I started at 212lbs. Now I am 201.4lbs. Yay.

I will make sure to watch my meals this week so I can lose maybe 2 more pounds this week. I would love to be under 200lbs on Sunday.

Good luck to me!

Losing Mass Week 2 Done.

Yay!

I have lost 6lbs in two weeks! I am proud at how I have stuck with the exercises that my sister gives me. It seems to be working.

Don’t get me wrong, it has been tough. Ignoring desserts, exercising three times a day, drinking enough water, and taking my special drink before I sleep.

I am surprised that I still lost three pounds last week with not being home, being a girl, and just being stressed with taking care of three kids. I worked hard and got results and I am happy!

The weight I have lost is a good motivator. I plan on keeping it up in keeping it going down! 🙂

Losing Mass

I call it losing mass, not losing weight.

I have put my sister in charge of training me. She tells me how much I can it. decides what exercises I am doing and for how long.

I signed so she has this power until December 31st at 11:59pm. I hope to be able to lose 60lbs by then. (I hope to at least be close.)

I know must do my hour walk… yippee!

Wish me luck!

Update as I lose mass.

End of June 2017-1

This month has been a different month with my sister being gone, and then my Dad. However, now that they are both back “normal life” can continue.

I missed my sister dearly, and glad she is home. Our relationship is even better than it was, which I didn’t think could happen. I will be talking about how that is later.

Knowing that I can survive without my sister is a nice feeling. And even though I can survive, I know that I still do not prefer it.

Hard

I really am missing my sister.

It is kicking in hard that she is not going to be back til a while. We have just begun.

I just want to say how amazing my sister is. She has done so much for me. I love my sister more than anything (except God.) I will do anything for her. Even if it hurts.

During this time I have found a song that has become one of my top favorites! Every Word is so true, and I always mean it when I sing it. God gave everything, and He is everything!

In Christ Alone

“In Christ alone my hope is found
He is my light, my strength, my song
This Cornerstone, this solid ground
Firm through the fiercest drought and storm
What heights of love, what depths of peace
When fears are stilled, when strivings cease
My Comforter, my All in All
Here in the love of Christ I stand

In Christ alone, who took on flesh
Fullness of God in helpless babe
This gift of love and righteousness
Scorned by the ones He came to save
‘Til on that cross as Jesus died
The wrath of God was satisfied
For every sin on Him was laid
Here in the death of Christ I live,

There in the ground His body lay
Light of the world by darkness slain
Then bursting forth in glorious Day
Up from the grave He rose again
And as He stands in victory
Sin’s curse has lost its grip on me
For I am His and He is mine
Bought with the precious blood of Christ

No guilt in life, no fear in death
This is the power of Christ in me
From life’s first cry to final breath
Jesus commands my destiny
No power of hell, no scheme of man
Can ever pluck me from His hand
Till He returns or calls me home
Here in the power of Christ I’ll stand”

Cleaning

Hard to believe it is day 5 of cleaning my sister and I’s room.

Today will be cleaning the floors, which means I will be done tonight!

Sure I will keep cleaning, but it will be more like a straightening up.

I was able to get rid of a double container, a two-pair-shoe-box sized plastic box, a full jewelry drawer- turned empty, and a junk dresser drawer! All for under $20. I claim help from Pinterest for some great organizing ideas!

I can’t wait to show my Sis when she gets home!

June!

This month will be a different month. My sister will be leaving for three weeks and I don’t know what I will do without her.

We have been apart for very little amount of time our whole life. 18 years- 6 months total apart… yeah.

We are incredibly close and this will be a interesting time.

Other news I will be starting to walk daily. I have a nice square block that I can walk… it is about 3 miles. I hope to walk it at least twice a day. With the pace I walk with the dog I will be burning over 400 calories each time I do that walk.

In hopes- I will be walking 8 miles a day. That will help me lose some weight. I also will be doing different exercises throughout the day!

Wish me luck!

Forgiveness

Here is a quote from a book called “Becoming a Woman of Freedom” by Cynthia Heald

Neil T. Anderson

“You don’t’ forgive someone merely for their sake; you do it for your sake so you can be free. Your need to forgive isn’t an issue between you and the offender; it’s between you and God. Forgiveness is agreeing to live with the consequences of another person’s sin.  Forgiveness is costly; we pay the price of evil we forgive. Yet you’re going to live with those consequences whether you want to or not; your only choice is whether you will do so in the bitterness of un-forgiveness or the freedom of forgiveness…. Forgiveness deals with your pain, not another’s behavior.”

Burn

“Burn your Bridges”

I found this sentence in a book I am reading. I thought about it, and I realized how much that spoke to me. “Burn your bridges” behind you.

If you have gotten through a trial, or just something that has gotten to you; burn the bridge behind you. It is a way of saying you are saying no matter what happens now, I can’t go back and it can’t get me.

I have been through much over the past year and a half. I have been afraid of my troubles and feelings coming back. Now I mentally burned the bridge behind me. I will never go back into depression, and it will never be able to come get me.

I have a say, and I have decided to burn the bridge.

I guess “Burn your bridges” will become a saying of mine. Maybe a catchphrase.

I will use this saying to help me go forward in my current trial, and through future trials.

God Bless!

Bed-time brain

While I am in bed my head comes up with all sorts of stuff. Last night it came up with “Anything I am thankful for is a reason to live.” Nice thought. Even though you may not feel loved or wanted, if you love someone, or are thankful for them, you have a reason to live.

There is also another reason to live that is always around. God put you on this earth. If you are alive, you have a reason to be. God does not have useless people on earth… although a few people may make you wonder how that is true.

God loves you! No matter what you have done, God can forgive and He will always love you!

A song I like about it not mattering what you have done:
