Losing Mass Week 2 Done.

Yay!

I have lost 6lbs in two weeks! I am proud at how I have stuck with the exercises that my sister gives me. It seems to be working.

Don’t get me wrong, it has been tough. Ignoring desserts, exercising three times a day, drinking enough water, and taking my special drink before I sleep.

I am surprised that I still lost three pounds last week with not being home, being a girl, and just being stressed with taking care of three kids. I worked hard and got results and I am happy!

The weight I have lost is a good motivator. I plan on keeping it up in keeping it going down! 🙂

Babysitting Day- done

Wow!

I thought I would have time to update all week, but that ended up to not be true.

Babysitting went well.

Wednesday night my sister and I ended up cracking, but I think that helped us finish pretty strong.

We were able to do the everyday Patch the pirate, and they listened well for being an everyday thing. It helped that we made it a mini VBS. If they listened they would get the questions right… and if they got enough points they got a prize. The better they were the more points they got.

My sister and I were trying to teach them that listening and obeying has rewards.

We are happy at how it turned out!

Losing Mass

I call it losing mass, not losing weight.

I have put my sister in charge of training me. She tells me how much I can it. decides what exercises I am doing and for how long.

I signed so she has this power until December 31st at 11:59pm. I hope to be able to lose 60lbs by then. (I hope to at least be close.)

I know must do my hour walk… yippee!

Wish me luck!

Update as I lose mass.

War-Room update

War Room is going well. Happy to say that we have stuck with it. It is hard, yet it becomes less hard as time goes by. I may groan a little when I go into our closet, but the moment prayer starts, that goes away.

Prayer is a powerful thing.

I had to eat humble pie a few days in. I had some bitterness in my heart and I needed to forgive someone. This person had no idea I had these thoughts. I emailed, since we barley see each other. Apologized for how I had had a grudge for way too long. Even though I had a major piece of Humble Pie… It felt good to “get right”.

Babysitting adventure Day-1

So today my sister and I started our babysit adventure.

We are taking care of the kids while their parents are on vacation. We will be having good amounts of fun!

Each afternoon the kids will sit down and listen to a Patch the Pirate. We will then ask them questions about the Patch Track, and then do a craft that has to do with the lesson.

We also have other crafts for extra fun!

My sister and I will be trying our hardest to stay their Aunts and not Parents. Meaning not soooo demanding, yet responsible.

I will keep you updated

End of June 2017-2

When my sister got home from Ohio, she was much better, and she for many reasons.

  1. She was with grandma of whom is caring.
  2. She was in a house that had no arguing.
  3. She was able to do devotions anytime she liked.
  4. She was able to talk freely.
  5. The topic of Jesus wasn’t downed.
  6. She got away from it all.
  7. Jesus was able to be her friend.
  8. She watched War Room.

All these things helped my sister grow in the Lord. She grew for the better.

After having me watch War Room when she got back, some things changed with me. I really need War Room. My Prayer and devotional life were sadly pretty non-existent. We ended up clearing one side of our walk-in closet to make room.

Watch War Room by the Kendrick Brothers and you will know what I mean. Here’s a link to the trailer:

Excellent movie! I recommend it.

We are ready to grow!

End of June 2017-1

This month has been a different month with my sister being gone, and then my Dad. However, now that they are both back “normal life” can continue.

I missed my sister dearly, and glad she is home. Our relationship is even better than it was, which I didn’t think could happen. I will be talking about how that is later.

Knowing that I can survive without my sister is a nice feeling. And even though I can survive, I know that I still do not prefer it.

6/11/2012-2017

Today five years ago I somehow ended up at Petsmart and got a Cat. That idea never popped into my head that morning when I got up. But that night, there was a cat sleeping at the end of my bed!

Shugums has a scintillating personality.  Shugums somehow always knows when I am feeling down and will be near me… even if just for a little while. She will make her presence known.

I thank Dad for letting me get her!

Book

I am reading a book right now called “When Trouble Comes” by Jim Berg. I recommend it to anyone having a difficult time, or gearing up for the next trial. It is speaking to my hard and digging deep.

Is anything to Hard for God… No.

Here is a song I enjoy:
