God answered a long time prayer today. I have felt stuck in what I should be doing. Yet knowing God is in control.

I have known that God has been leading me in another direction. I have never had the urge to have a job job. My passion is for seniors. That may sound crazy, but it is true.

God gave me peace a few months back about relying on Him. All my devotionals have been linked the past month on that matter. And two weeks ago I knew that God has plans for me, and even though it is harder to do nothing, I need to be patient and trust in God’s timing.

Well guess what… He answered my job cry.

I was out for a walk, and it was meant to be a visit to a neighbor down at the circle. (I met this lady two weeks ago.) Any way, she wasn’t home so I headed home. I got back to the driveway and decided I would visit another neighbor I hadn’t seen in a while. She has been looking and praying about someone being able to help clean her home. But she doesn’t want strangers, she wants someone she can trust. I happen to be looking for seniors to help!

So I will be cleaning her house.

Just that day I read in my devotions that “God still moves stones.” “Don’t quit… The job contact may be on the desk” That was just an hour before I got a job. God is good.

I can’t tell you how much this has meant to me, and how much God has been doing the past few months.

For the first time in a long time, I am sleeping good.

 God is Good!!

10/24/2017- Two Years

Today it has been two years since I started to fight Depression.

I thank God for all He has taught me, and brought me through.

I may not be the same person I was two years ago, but I think that is a good thing. My relationship with God is, well a relationship not just a “yeah He’s there”.

Do I still have “moth” attacks… Yes. But I can get through them well. (I call them moths, not butterflies, since it’s a bad feeling.)

I do not know that is in store for the next year, but I know with God’s help I can do anything.

Philippians 4:13,”I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.”

Another song that I have enjoyed. With God, I have no need to fear. And fear is strong in my life. I am still learning.

Looking back

Tonight I wrote in my Diary, and I was looking back at all I have been through…

I began to cry, not because I was sad, but because of the Mercy of God.

God has been so good to me.

You say, “But what about all you have been through? Depression, the loss of your Papa, etc?”

Yes I have been through those things, yet God is good.

God makes no mistakes. He is all-knowing, almighty God! I thank God for what I have been through, for if I hadn’t gone through those things… I wouldn’t be as close to Him today as I am.

Do I miss my Papa? Yes. I miss him everyday. But I know one day I will be with him, my mom, and my Savior! Papa is not sick and Mom is not sick. They are living the joys of Heaven.

I thank God for the tears, joys, laughs, sorrows, ups, and downs of my life.

Here is a Verse I memorized this week.

Psalms 18:32 “It is God that girdeth me with Strength, and maketh my way Perfect.”

Losing Mass-Sept

Yeah… Didn’t go well.

This month has brought things we had to work around. Every time we figured out what I should do something came up that would disrupt that.

I am still at 200lbs though, so good there. I didn’t gain, but I didn’t lose.

I will do better in October. I have another idea. I am writing motivation on my hand to keep me from eating things I shouldn’t. Write where I grab things.

Now that it is cooler, I can go on walks multiple times a day. Do yoga, and do Cardio in the Garage.

I will update you the last week of October.

Shugums

Is it logical that when I lose some weight, my cat does too…?

It happens all the time. My weight goes up, hers goes up. Mine goes down, hers goes down.

And it is not because of her winter coat, because colder weather is coming and she is 2lbs lighter.

Explain that.

Losing Mass- August

:/ Hasn’t been good at all. I lost my motivation, and have probably gained 4 pounds back. But, I am not giving up. I am trying a new motivation. A paper chain. I have been using a jar with marbles to represent how much I have lost and what I have to go. (Two jars- one=how much I have, two=how much I’ve lost.) Now I will use a paper chain which will drive me crazy, which is the point. I still have 60 pounds or so to lose, so it will be long. It will remind me daily of why I want to lose the weight.

My sister/trainer is adding more cardio to my workouts, and I actually like that.

With it starting to cool down I will start walking more. I like walking outside… looking at God’s creation! So Beautiful!

I hope everything works! I won’t update this progress until September.

Losing Mass Week Four – Done

Okay so this week wasn’t the greatest, but that doesn’t mean giving up. I still lost 6ozs this week. Puts me at 200.8lbs.

This week my sister and I will be able to relax which will be good for losing mass.

I will keep you updated of course.

Craft- PB jars

I have made Peanut Butter Jars into schooling supply jars.

I paint or marker “Pens” or “Pencils” on the side of the jars, and then you have perfect-sized pen and pencil jars for schooling.

I have made them for my sister in law for her kids. She home-schools and they are handy for organizing.

Losing Mass Week Three Done.

So this week was okay, but I had some higher calorie meals this week that made me only lose 0.4oz’s. Over all I have lost 10.6lbs. That is from when I started back in June… not the 9th. I will say that I started at 212lbs. Now I am 201.4lbs. Yay.

I will make sure to watch my meals this week so I can lose maybe 2 more pounds this week. I would love to be under 200lbs on Sunday.

Good luck to me!

War Room

Last week was tough. Being gone all day made me wonder what I will do when I get a job. I do my devotions in the afternoon, and that will not work come then.

My sister and I were able to spend time together in the War Room every night before bed. It helped us calm down from the day, and prepare for the next. We never went to battle without our “Armor.”

We do thank God for the strength He gave us last week!
